As a junior, I finally return to Benton High School after an entire YEAR of suspension! :)

One of my favorite authors, Ellen Hopkins, releases , FALLOUT, the trilogy to CRANK and GLASS, revealing how Kristina's mistakes in these books affected her childrens later despite her barely being a part of their lives.

I passed Comm Arts 10 after retaking it because I failed a semester.

My favortite artist, Wiz Kahlifa, becomes popular.

I began to read the Twilight series and finished all four books shorty after. I love Stephanie Meyer and the way she oddly twists a wonderful love story.

I began the semester with Mrs. L as my new Com Arts 9 teacher! I am glad I did; she is really nice and always offers help without making me feel dumb.

From Della and Jim in "The Gift of The Magi", I learned what being a hero really means. Being a hero is helping someone out of sincerity not just to get something in return.

I learned how to understand and describe character. Characters can be described using the five senses. By describing the appearance and attitude of a character gives the reader a clearer image.

By looking at how the things around a character can effect the story, I learned how to identify setting. Setting is the time, place, & enviroment in which the story is taking place.

I learned to describe scences and characters fully. Giving the reader a picture in their head is called imagery. Imagery uses the five senses to make the reader feel as if they were watching a movie rather than reading a text.

After paying $40 to take the ACT and a lot of hard studying, I sleep in only 5 minutes past the starting time, which for that particular test is unexceptable. No refunds or retakes..

Started a very difficult piece of writing. Eccelled a lot in imagery and adding length to my writing by doing this assignment.

Quit my job as a carhop at Sonic Drive-In. :( Now I regret it..... sort of.

My great aunt Carolene had a heart attack and temporarily lost some of her memory. She is okay now :)

My boyfriend, Brandon and I celebrate our four year anniversery! :)

I am proud of this writing because I kind of opened up more than I usually do and I recorded it with my own voice.

I learned that you if you struggle to put your trust in someone, chances are they don't deserve it. FULLY Trust noone but yourself. Give no trust unless they earn it.
