This is the span of time over which I need to work on college applications, some of which are already completed.
-
Examine each of the different applications--especially their "writing" sections or equivalents--and set dates to have them done by. Also set dates for the "busywork" parts.
-
Spend some time planning which days to spend on scholarship searching and completion. Potentially find some specific scholarships and set goals for them.

Just need to get these done. The prompts are as follows:
- Virginia Tech’s motto is "Ut Prosim" which means 'That I May Serve'. Share how you contribute to a community that is important to you. (FOOTBALL CAMP)
- Resilience is defined as the ability to adapt and learn from a difficulty. Reflect on a time that you have exhibited resilience. (FOOTBALL)
- Share a time when you were most proud of yourself either as a role model or when you displayed your leadership.
- Describe a goal and steps -
I need to respond to 4 of 8 different prompts with 250-350 words. https://apply.universityofcalifornia.edu/my-application/reviewSubmit
-
Fill out Virginia Tech busywork for application and review the writing. Can also begin busywork for UC Berkeley
-
Just get it done here. There will be a lot of porting information over from CommonApp, so this should be started the day before in order to make this easier.
-
Just a bit of busywork, plus some interesting prompts:
5 books I've read (Lolita, Dune, etc.) How has a book influenced work view? More about a topic that most engages my intellectual curiosity. A top 10 list (I choose the theme) -
Again, not all that much. Just a bit of information, plus a single essay prompt (and two optional, which I don't think I'll respond to): Please share with us why you consider Duke a good match for you. Is there something in particular about Duke’s academic or other offerings that attracts you? (200 word limit) *
-
Three prompts, all minimum 100, maximum 250 words: The Stanford community is deeply curious and driven to learn in and out of the classroom. Reflect on an idea or experience that makes you genuinely excited about learning. Virtually all of Stanford's undergraduates live on campus. Write a note to your future roommate that reveals something about you or that will help your roommate – and us – get to know you better. Tell us about something that is meaningful to you and why.
-
Mostly just the awards and experiences section.

-
This application is wholly outside of Common App. This means that I will need to:
- Get Recommendation letters submitted
- Write all of the accompanying essays
- AND fill out busywork questions I've already answered several times over -

The most important section of this is the Awards and Experience part. This asks for details about leadership, service, and more.
