  • Coming Out

The first person i came out to was my best friend Autumn, she has been my best friend for 11 years now. I grew up learning that it was a sin to be gay so needless to say i was terrified. I texted her at 11 o'clock with a ranting paragraph about a bunch of things and just mentioned in there that i was gay. The first things she said to me were how proud of me she was and how she would always accept me. My other coming outs weren't as easy but that one fixes all the others.

  • Meeting my nephew

As the youngest of 5 with a 16 year age gap in between me and my oldest sister i got to become an aunt pretty early. But in August of 2020 my nephew Finlay was born and i never got that $20.
  • My mom leaving

My mom left at the end of my sophomore year, after years of going through mental and physical issues she decided that she was moving out. • Cutting my hair

For 5 years i begged my parents to cut my hair short. I slowly went shorter and shorter from my waist, to half way through my torso, to my shoulders and shorter and shorter to where we are now. To me i see it is getting a new identity and getting rid of the immature, shy person i used to be and turning into the bold person i want to be.
