This is a story my mom has told me many times because she thinks it's so funny. When I was a baby and me and my family were on vacation at our house in North Carolina my mom was in the living room looking for me because she couldn't figure out where I went. She was looking and looking then she heard this weird movement from behind the couch so she goes behind it. I was crawling around on the floor picking up old m&ms from behind the couch and eating them. -
My mom, sister, and I were at the grocery store and went to check out. I picked up the orange flavored tic tacs and asked my mom if I could have them and she said no. Then, I thought a genius plan came to mind. I took the tic tacs and put them in my pocket. When we got home I pulled them out of my pocket and said "Look mom, they magically appeared in my pocket.", she knew I stole them and instantly started yelling at me and threw them out. I was not as smart as I thought I was. -
It was mothers day at my aunt's house and me and my cousins were riding around on our scooters on her very steep road. I decided to try and go up higher on the road to go faster because I thought it would be cool. I started going and I couldn't stop until I did a superman pose into the concrete. My cousins were watching shocked and I stood up and was frozen for a second then I started crying. I had cuts all over arm and legs. My aunt and mom made me go into the bathtub to wash off the blood. -
When I was little I used to sing all the time and Adele was my favorite. One day I was singing in the shower very loudly and my mom recorded it from outside of the bathroom and sent it to my whole family. I have never been so embarrassed and they still talk about it to this day. I haven't sung in front of anyone since. -
One night I was leaving my room to walk to my moms room and my sister had just gotten out of the shower so the floor was wet and I didn't notice. I was walking across the stairs to my mom's room and I slipped and my face hit the other side of the stair and my tooth went through my lip. My mom was sitting there staring at me waiting for me to start crying because I always have very late reactions and then I cried loudly. Then my mom and aunt came with me to the hospital so I could get stitches.

On Christmas my mom and aunt went to the Humane Society to surprise me and my sister with a cat for christmas. They were only supposed to get one but these cats were sisters so they took both. They came home and hid the cats under the table. Me and my sister came in the room and they all were staring and I still haven't seen either of the cats even after looking around. Then my sister found one and I looked and saw the other. We both were so happy and we named them Muffin and Sweetie.

During my year of 7/8 th grade my stress got so bad from school and my appearance. I always felt like everything I did wasn't enough. I had such a bad mindset for school and would cry everyday from the stress of it. It does not help at all that I always procrastinate assignments. To this day I still struggle with these things but I have gotten better at dealing with it. -
Last summer me and my sister were both looking for jobs. My mom texted my now boss at kobackers because they were hiring and asked for a job for my sister because she is friends with her. She reached out about it around a month later but by then my sister had her own job so my mom recommended me and she said yes. I remember my first day walking in to meet with her and get trained I was so scared and didn't know who to talk to but everything went really well and I still have this job now. -
Throughout my whole school career I have worked so hard to get good grades. I have put in a lot of effort and time into it every day and I have dealt with so much stress because of it. I am really happy to say it paid off because I have gotten high honor roll every quarter in high school so far and I was accepted into NHS. -
I was so so scared to take my driving test because I wanted to pass so badly so I could go to places without my mom having to drive me every single time and have some freedom. I wasn't so good about practicing all the time until my test was 2 weeks away so I was really nervous. I had done 3 driving lessons which helped me so much. On March 1st I took my test and I passed. I honestly believe that I only passed because of my driving lessons because they taught me so much.
