In September 2000, I had my first class at Diane's School of Dance. This was when I was introduced to something that I love and something that would be in my life for a long time.

My grandma got my sister and I a dog named Princess to teach us responsibility. However, Princess lives with my grandma so she would be more of the caregiver. This shaped my identity by giving me something to love, but also something that I have to take care of.

My sister and I received our own two puppies that we would have to take care of. Now, all of the responsibility is on my sister and I to care for living creatures that depend on us. This has shaped my identity by becoming a caregiver to two papillions puppies. I have now have to take care of others than just myself.

Identity vs. Role Confusion: Teenagers work at refining a sense of self by testing roles and the integrating them to form a single identity, or they become confused about who they are.

I made the 2013-2014 Park Hill Dance Team in March 2013 and would be on it for the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 teams. Dance team has turned me into a stronger person, physically and mentally. This ha ashamed my identity by introducing to friends that I wouldn't have ever met.

I graduatated from Park Hill High School. This is an important step in my life as I leave home and become an adult.

I will graduate from Rockhurst University with a major in Speech Pathology. I have all the education that I need and can officially be on my way to start my dream career.

I got my first job as a speech pathologist at Children's Mercy Hospital. My dream job is now my reality. This has shaped my identity by my job becoming my role in the community.

This is the day I create my own family and share a companionship with another person. This has shaped my identity by giving me a new last name and sharing my life with another person.

This is when I will have my first child and will have to take care of another human being for the first time. I will be responsilbe for this child for the rest of his/her life.

I decided to go to Clearwater, Florida to help sea rescues and take care of wounded sea creatures. By doing this, I feel like I am paying back to the world.

My son and his wife just had a little girl. I have retired so I will be watching her while the parents are at work. It will bring back many memories of my son and daughter when they were babies. I can teach my grandchildren about my life. This has shaped my identity by becoming a role model to my grandchildren.

My life ended today at 100 years old and I believe that I fulfilled the life I wanted. Now, I can rest.
