    Over all the chinese revolution ended up in a state where there was much oppresion and no equality but this is very different than what the original revolution was
  • The start of the revolution

    China was a land of poverty and was tormented over the years of civil was and foriegn conflicts. This promted the PRC to help remake the country communist.

    Great Leap Forward

    Was an ecomomic and social campaign by the communist party of china to rapidly industrialize china. It failed badly and ended up killing many people.

    Split from the soviet union

    Even though these two countries were the biggest communist countries they had different ideas about ideoligies about communisim. This separated them for most of the chinese revolutions

    Cultural revolution

    Was a revolution that involved killing anyone that was against the revolution. Millions of people were killed because they were or thought to be anti-revolutionists.
  • Lin Bao's asassination attempt

    With Lin bao and Mao fighting over politics inside china tension was getting increasingly high and Lin Bao attempted to asassinate Mao.
  • Mao's Death

    Mao's death on september 6th 1976 marked an end to the chinese revolution. After his death china needed to find a new leader to lead the cause.
