    Sun Yat-sen was a leader who helped China’s political and economic growth. Sun Yat-sen wanted to become a successful country, and to accomplish that goal, he formed the Revolutionary Alliance to overthrow the Manchu emperor. other countries were going through their Industrial Revolution, but China’s economy was falling. After many defeats in wars, like the Opium Wars and the Sino-French Wars, China was very weak and falling apart in their economics because of all the wars they have fought

    The Communist party seizes control of China when Pu Yi, the last emperor of China, steps of his throne. This ended a nearly 300 year rule that Yi's family had had on China.
