Charlie's Timeline

    I was born towards the end of the year and accrding to Gladwell this gives me a distinct advantage against my peers. For the most part I have not experienced any noticable advantages besides being a little older did help in sports. Being at a higher age I was stronger, faster, and more conditioned than my peers.

    Growing Up with Opportuntity

    I've been extremely fortunate to grow up with high standards of ife in a healthy community. Ive had a lot of social opportunity through the community through sports, academics, clubs, and friends. Additionally a successful community like Grosse Pointe allows citizens to work together well.

    Travel Baseball

    After finishing up Little League baseball the gifted players moved on to travel baseball. I was lucky enough giving the opportunity to play baseball on a travel team. On the team which I played for, for 3 years I had all sorts of opporttunities to play and develop my game.
  • 6th Grade Report Card

    I started middle school when I was 12 years old. I new thing in middle school was that report card were adressed quarterly. On my first report card in 6th grade I remember being very disapointed and upset. This failure gave me a sense of grit. I used my failure as motivattion for the future grades and became very successful in middle school getting my self into the Junior National Honnors society. (3.5) required GPA

    8th Grade Track
    8th grade was the start of my running career and since ive put in thousands of hours of training.Over time I've seen legitamate inprovement, for example with the track event the 800. (half-mile) In eight-grade, my first year running I acheived a 2:15 half mile, earnning me the school record. After practicing nect year as a freshman I was able to get down to a 2:07, and by my sophomore year I lowered my time yet again, and as a junior I aim to break 2 minutes.     Grosse Pointe South
    I have the opportuntity to attend GPS HS, which is one of the best highschools in the state and highly regarded throughout the nation. I have the option to take classes I enjoy that will accelerate me better than many other schools. Souths perks are good teaching, not over enrolled, high quality building and supplies. South has giving me an advantage that not many schools can match.
