The spot where St. peters-burg lies was chosen by Peter the great. Peter began by laying the foundation for the Peter Paul fortress and the city at it's walls in may 1703. He decided to build the city to create a new vision for his country.

In the early 1700's the leaders of invaded Northern India. Eventually they marched to Delhi. Their army easily won against the Mughal army and eventually sacked their Capital.

The battle of Plassey was fought in North eastern India on June 23rd 1757. The Mogul led army had 50,000 soldiers and the British had just 3.000. The British were huge under dogs but some how won the battle.
