Ben Born
My little brother Ben was born. This was the first time I had to learn to really share things. I didn't take naturally to it. -
Andrew born
My second brother. He's now seven, but he's really improving my "not strangling people out of annoyance" abilities. -
Busted open my head
My family and I were house-hunting. We were making the move closer to my dads work, and me and my brother, ben, were playing on a small hill just outside of the house. I was running down the hill and tripped, hitting my head on a brick wall. I was taken to the hospital and recieved ninteen stitches in my forehead. For a long time after that, I've been very nervous about tripping and falling, I usually survey the ground carefully to make sure I don't trip. -
First interest in computer science
This marks my first interest in computer science. One of my classes had a short introduction on HTML, and it struck a chord with me. I write code as a hobby, and hope to do it as a career someday. -
Moved to Iowa
I moved to Iowa when I was about 9, and the move was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be. Dad told me that people are people, and things are going to be generally the same wherever you go, and he seems to be right. -
Recieved learners permit
I finally managed to get my learners permit about a month after my birthday. Nervously pulling out of the parking lot, I promptly crashed into another car. Well, more of a dent, but my parents are still hesitant to drive with me. -
Grandfather died
As a result of my grandfather dying, my mother had to move to New Hampshire for the funeral. My father primarily works nights, so I was essentially taking care of my brothers. It was hard, but I think it helped me realize what my parents go through, or went through, taking care of me. -
