    This Was considered a form of religion that tied into the political system as well that was first established in the Zhou Period, Ancient China. In this religion it was believed that the chief deity, Tian, chose the man he felt worthy to be king and gave him power, and that he had the power to switch kings if he chose to do so.

    The New Kingdom era began when Theban rulers drove the Hyksos kings from the delta. The military extended Egypt's boundaries farther east included Nubia back which made Egyptian pharaohs extremely wealthy.

    This is the first period of Chinese history that could be recorded. Information was recorded on the bottom of animals such as turtles. The chief during this period was able to contact the wisdom of the ancestors through oracle bones. These ancestors were able to contact the chief god for the leader if neccesary.

    It was this era that the famous pyramids were constructed. This was a dynamic period of development of art and is referred to as ancient Egypt.

    One of the first civilzations which was located in the Indus Valley is the Indus River Valley civilization. They worshipped multiple deities and began the jump of innovation for human kind.

    This civilization was located south of Egypt. This area was later taken over by Egypt and Egyptian lifestyle was seeped and blended with their own culture.

    A system of writing created by Mesopotamia. It used a wooden reed to created indentions in clay tablets.

    Mesopotamia is located between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. Mesopotamia is credited as the model for many of the city structutres and developments to come including the use of city-states.

    The first settlers of Mesopotamia. They were conquered by the Shiites, but later after the Shiites' system corrupted, they gained control of their mother land once again.

    Egypt was one of the three first major civilizations for man-kind. It's unique art, architecture, language, beliefs/religion and rich history is one of the most complex and interesting stories of our people.
