    The Big Defeat
Napoleon was a very successful military leader and he led his troops to many victories, but when they were beat by Russia, it was a big deal. Napoleon entered Russia with 600,000 troops, but instead of fighting back like expected, Russian troops fled and lit everything on fire in their path. This left Napoleon's troops with no supplies and very little to eat. This event is significant to the Revolution because it was Napoleon's first huge loss.
