In a desperate condition in China, a new revolution started.
In October 1911, the government lost control of military, and some provinces declared themselves independent of Beijing, and this movement is known as Double Tenth.
In November 1911, delegates from the "independent" provinces declared the creation of a Chinese Republic. -

Qing dynasty
Qing dynasty was the most powerful in China but in 19th century the power became more and more weak, because external causes and by internal changes, so the option was to give the power to Sun Yixian. -

The provisional president of GMD
On February 1912, Pu-Yi gave the power to Sun Yixian.
Sun Yixian had the power during 1912-1915 and during these years he acted as a dictator and his idea was to modernize China adopting Western political and economic methods, so he reformed the GMD and declared itself a parliamentary party, and it was centrated in 3 principles:
-Nationalism.
-Demoracy.
-People´s livelihood. -
Warlords
In a desperate condition China was divided into provinces and each of them were controlled by a "Waerlord" who was a delegate from the province.
Warlord's plans was to expand their territory and power. -
May Fourth Movement
By the treaties with Western Nations ( Versailles treaty) university students were not agree so they demand the restoration of China independence and the China's rebirth inpired by revolutionary ideology.
Bolshevik revolution had an important role here because it was an inspiration for the GMD and CCP. -

When CCP and GMD get together by the same goal to eliminate warlords, but Sun Yixian principle was the socialism and Jiang was oppositive -

The three principles
Sun Yatsen, was the main leader, and was inspired by Western ideas and was adapted to the situation of China. -
The Northern Expedition
Jiang removed all the communist of the party and the communist had captured Hangzhou, Shangai and Nanjing. -
The prurification
Jiang want to eliminate all the communist of the GMD and his attacks reached a pick on Shangai and 5,000 communist were shot and about a quarter of million people were killed
This movement is also known as " The White terror" -
Jiangxi Soviet
The CCP were very scared about all, so they scape to Jiangxi mountains, to survive because GMD want to eliminate them.
Mao started to convince peasants to their supports.
