I performed at the Temple Brotherhood show singing "Hey Daddy, I want a Diamond Ring". The headliner was the old comedic duo of Martin and Rossi. Yup, I'm that old!

Began Hebrew School in the 2nd grade 1 week after my father passed away.

I joined the Junior choir at the Temple and started en pointe in ballet.

My mother made me quit dance due to financial difficulties, so I dove into everything Temple. I became the lead soloist in the choir and was a madrichah along with participating in Confirmation.

Began with Confirmation and a trip to New York City. I had never been out of New England. Went to Israel for 3 1/2 weeks with the Jewish Federation of Worcester. Amazing Trip! Finished off the summer with one month at Camp Eisner in the Berkshires. I'm still friends with some of the campers.

I was the President of our local chapter of NFTY for the year 1973 - 1974. I loved every minute of it.

I attended Southern Connecticut State majoring in Musical Theatre. I attended for 4 years but left without a degree. I was confused about what I wanted to be when I grew up. Amazingly, it would take me another 30 years to figure it out!!:)

My Husband converted to Judaism, my two girls were born - Jessica (Sarah Yidit) and Rebecca (Rivka Chana) in 1981 and 1985.

We moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, the home of the Huskers, and immersed ourselves in Dance, Theatre and the Reform Temple, where I really became aware of my wanting to have a life in Judaism and Jewish Education in particular.

Jessica had a Bat Mitzvah in Nebraska and in Worcester. Why? Because no one from Massachusetts would come to Nebraska. Oy vay!

The marriage fell apart. He moved to Florida, The Girls and I moved to Florida to be closer to their father. We immediately joined a Temple bartering our dues with me teaching Judaic studies and music.

Jessica attended Alexander Muss High School in Israel for 2 months. She came back wanting to be a Rabbi. That aspiration didn't last long, but she still loves being Jewish.

I auditioned and was hired as the part time Cantorial Soloist for Temple Beit HaYam in Stuart, FL.

Rebecca was Bat Mitzvahed in Boca Raton, FL. That same year, Jessica was Confirmed. We loved our connection to Judaism.

I became the Director of Education because no one else would sit in the chair in the office and the powers-that-be didn't want to take the time to hire anyone. I'm still in this position today along with the Cantorial Soloist position.

At the age of 51, I decided to finally have my own Bat Mitzvah. After all, I was tutoring all of the students. I wanted to know what I was putting my 12 and 13 year old students through!! I loved every minute of it. My two girls and some of my other family and the Temple family were all there.

Because my job was being threatened and I wanted to learn more, I decided to go back to school I am in the dual BA/MJed program part time on-line and loving every minute of it. I hope to graduate in 2016.
