Oscar gets more attached to Nia.he breaks up with his "girlfriend" Mandi because they really weren't a real couple. Nia and him spend more time together. They kiss eachother all the time and respect eachother. -
Chapter 15 - Chapter 22 116-163 (47)
Oscar and Nia are now dating. Oscar's "friend" Sherman ends up telling Nia all about Candor and how Oscar's dad is the one who invented the messages and is the reason why everyone is so perfect. He tells her that the messages control everything that everyone does in Candor. After what Nia has been told she thinks that Oscar messed with her head to try and make her love him. -
Chapter 22 - Chapter 33 163-225 (62)
Nia is more brainwashed than when she came here. She becomes more perfect every day. She strays away from her true self. Nia doesn't even like art now that she has listened to the messages. Oscar tries his hardest at trying to get her to be the same person she used to be, but it doesn't seem to be working.
