    The Fashoda Crisis was the problem between France and England both wanting to capture Sudan. The British wanted Fashoda, but they decided to have joint control over Sudan. It was named/renamed "Anglo-Egyptian Sudan"

    The Dutch Settlers in Africa tied to stop outsiders from taking over their land. The Boers blamed the British for the outsiders, so they decided to fight them. The war was a total war which used guerrilla tactics. The British won.
