3rd Estates issues
3rd estate people payed taxes for the 1st and 2nd estates to have parties and pay for other things that 3rd estate people couldn't attend. 3rd estate starts to riot so they hire Jacques Necker to try to solve the problems. His ideas are that everyone pays taxes and reduce spending money. 1st and 2nd estate don't like the idea so they fire him. This leads to more riots by the 3rd estate. -
Storming the Bastille
3rd estate is very unhappy with the way things are going, so they decide to storm the Bastille. They stormed this because it was where the king sent people who made him angry. They destroyed the Bastille so that the King would be very angry. -
King Guillotined
The Kings castle was stormed by the 3rd estate people and he was put in jail. After a bit of time, they guillotined him and put his head on long sticks to use in parades and other things. They did this to him because of all of the terrible things he did to favor other estates in many ways. -
Napoleon was emperor of French
Napoleon became Emperor for the 3rd estate people. They loved him because he wanted equality through everyone. Plus Napoleon defeated much of Europe for the French. He was a high rank in the Military because of his great skills. -
Napoleon defeated in Waterloo
Napoleon was Defeated by Russia in others in 1812. Napoleon returned to power in 1815 after abdication and exile. The battle of Waterloo is when Napoleons final battle was. He was defeated by the British and Prussians. He returned to France and later died in exile.
