Creation Of Facebook
Mark ZuckerbergMark Zuckerburg,Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes created facebook in 2004. On facebook you can have a profile, upload photos and videos, play games and more. In fact, in july 2010 the number of facebook users world wide reached 500 million. For instance, facebook created new privacy settings that allowed users to gain more control over what personal information was shared or displayed. Facebook has became very popular over the years and many people can communicate. -

Hurricane Katrina ConstructionIn late August 2005 Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of damage for New Orlands. Before it was a hurricane it was a tropical storm over the Bahamas. On the day of August 27 2005 Katrina's hurricane category moved from 1 to a 3 with winds of 115 mph. A few days later the category moved to a 4 with winds of 130 mph. Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of damage now we remember it as one of the most horrific moments in time. -
The Soshi Winter Olympics by Jake D.
Soshi OlympicsSochi was chosen to host the Winter Olympics on July 4th 2007. This was very interesting because Russia has never hosted the Winter Olympics but they did host the Summer Olympics in 1980. Something very weird about this is that Sochi was in debate with South Korea and Austria and Sochi some how won but barely.
Vladimir Putin stated clearly that he wanted to make Russia seem better and make people less afraid of them. -
My Mom Found Out She Was Having Twins!
On November,2010 my mom found out she was having twins! I was so excited but theres so many responsibilites that follow. I knew it was gonna be challenging finding the right names. I wanted a girl and a boy but instead we got 2 boys! My family was ready for the change and after a while we became prepared. My mom needed help sometimes so i became her little helper. Finally we decided on the perfect names, Hunter and Corbin. If i didnt have my twin brothers i wouldnt be who i am today. -
Started playing Softball
I started playing softball in 2011 i was on a team named the Catamounts our colors were purple and white. I had always cheered and wanted to try something different, my brother played baseball and i practiced with him and i became very good at it.I knew my mom would be proud of me if i tried something new. My mom thought it was a good idea and would support me. I wanted my family to be proud of me and see that i could succed. -
Getting My Puppy
My family and I got a puppy in 2013. The puppy is a mix between a jack russel and a blue heeler.We decided to name him Hayce.We had to get him food,toys,treats and bones for him to feel happy and welcome to his new home.He was very shy when we first got him but after he got to know us he became very energetic and playful.My dad said hes a very hyper dog and we need to take him for walks and play with him. Now hes our family dog and we love him very much hes very active and fun. -
The Year I Met My Best Friend Melanne
The day i met my best friend Melanne was August 20,2014. It was the first day of school, i didnt have any friends yet, she was very quiet and i reconized her from last year but never really met her. She was wearing pretty purple glasses and a pretty pink shirt. I said hi and she said hi back. Me and Melanne had alot in common thats how we became best friends.Best friends can start by just saying hi. -
I Got My Braces
I got my braces on October 6, 2014. I was very excited and everyone in my family was too! I had went went the week before to talk about them. I knew what colors i wanted and they were my favorite colors. I also knew this was gonna be a long process, and i knew there were many responsibilites. It took 2 hours of them pushing, pulling and poking but we finally finished it felt really diferent, they told me i had to wear them for 18 months! I know it will be a long time but there will be changes!
