My mom did not smoke, drink alcohol or do any drugs while she was pregnant with me. She was under stress because of my two older siblings who were one and a half and three years old when I was born. She did not work but they moved into the house the winter of 1987.

My mother had a c-section on October 11. Because my mom was 30 years old when she had me and took prenatal vitamins I was born 8 lbs 6 oz and healthy as a horse.

My mom had surgery a month after I was born. While she was recovering she was not able to lift me. Although some may say that could have been dentrimental my father was there to provide that comfort. I had two older siblings and extended family that showered me with love.

My mother and father were busy but they found it important that all of my shots were up-to-date. I had no reactions to the shots.

My mom was a stay at home mom so I was very attached to my mother however she made sure I was an independent child.
-
I had a bedtime that was strictly enforced. We did not go out to eat very often and pop was not allowed in the house. We had to take a shower every other day during early childhood times and brushing our teeth was a family event.

I started school at an early age (four going on five) because my birthday is later in the year. I attended public schools until 5th grade; between 5th grade and 7th grade I attended private school and then I finished the rest of my schooling in public schools. While I was in school I was friends with the "brainy" kids and took AP classes whenever I had the opportunity. I was involved in sports and extra curricular activities. I had great relationships with all of my teachers and counselors.

We were concerned about the lack of income but my dad stepped up and was hired at two different jobs. He started to go back to school to become a teacher. My mom was the rock who kept our family together. She expected a lot out of us but she helped us with whatever we needed.

That summer I did a lot of growing up. My great uncle, who was our psuedo-grampa, passed away after years of fighting cancer and one of my favorite aunts gave birth to a still born. One week was full of viewings and funerals and I will never forget. It taught me that life is too short and to never take family for granted.

I attended CMU for four years. I was a part of the Leadership Advancement Scholarship so I was extremely involved throughout my four years. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from various backgrounds. I met some of my best friends while in college and I still talk to them.

One of my good friends from my freshman year of college turned out to be a liar; as in she lied about everything from having cancer to killing off her boyfriend. Moral of the story I learned that many people are not they way they seem.

My great aunt, who was like my grandma, passed away. She lived with us for a couple of months before she passed away and it was the greatest experience ever. She has greatly influenced how I have lived my life.

I rolled my ankle at a football game and had to go to the ER. After an x-ray it was determined that when I was younger I broke my ankle but didn't know. I found this humorous because I used to roll my ankle all the time as a child but it turned out that the bone was not connected which was the reason behind so many accidents.

While I was in college I gained ten pounds; depending on who you talk to it isn't that terrible but considering I am only 5' 2 it was definitely evident. After going to the doctor's for stomach issues I have lost some weight and then I have started to train for different runs to lose extra weight.

I am currently 23 years old with a successful job and will be starting graduate school. I am not in a relationship but I have several friends and family members that make me happy. I have no children but I love little kids. One day, after I am married, I will have children.
-
I will start my grad school this May to earn my teaching degree. After that I will be going back to school to become a counselor. Hopefully I will be able to finish and find a job within this time frame!
