in the spring of 2007 while I was in the middle of third grade my parents made the decision for my brothers and I to leave private school and attend public school -
House Fire
In the spring of 2009, my home caught on fire due to electrical issues and extensive damage was done to the only home I’ve ever known -
Started Middle School and had Mr. Jones
In eighth grade my history teacher was Mr. Jones who taught us extensive knowledge about Fayette County. Started high school at Albert Gallatin
Starting high school marked my first opportunity to take advanced academic classes. This had a huge impact on finding my place in academics. -
High School Band

Met Mrs. Clemmer
My junior year of high school I had Mrs. Clemmer as my AP English teacher. Meeting her changed my life and inspired me to become a teacher. She is the single most influential person in my life. -
Waynesburg
I had a meeting scheduled with the Waynesburg Education Department to see if WU would be the right fit for me. Once I met Dr. Solomon and toured campus I knew this is where I wanted to spend my next four years. -
Summer Job
After I graduated I began working at a small pizza shop in my town—Eatza My Pizza. I loved this job and the opportunity unity to connect to people in my hometown. This job taught me about being a team player. -
Graduated High School
On June 2, 2017, I graduated from AG with a 4.2 GPA and a class rank of 8. This moment instilled in me the drive to do even better academically in college and retain a 4.0 GPA.
