In 2011, my mom signed me up to start dance lessons at DancePraize. 10 years later, I'm still dancing. Dance is a huge part of my life and I've spent more than half my life dancing. DancePraize has hugely impacted my life. I'm still really good friends with people that I met from dance. DancePraize is like a second home. My teachers have also impacted my life by mentoring me not only in dance but also in my faith. I wouldn't be the person I am without dance.

In 6th grade, I tried out for middle school cheer. I'd never really done anything like that before and I was a weird kid so, I didn't think I was going to make it but my friends were trying out and I decided to too. Surprisingly I made it, then I made it the year after that, and the year after that, and now I'm a junior still doing cheer. Cheer has really impacted my life by giving me opportunities to make more friends, attend more school events, and even teach me discipline.

After I got saved I became a member of First Baptist Church. I started going to Wednesday night church with Anna, then I started to go on Sunday nights, and then I started going Sunday mornings. That church and the people in it have really impacted my life. I've made my closest friends there and I've grown so much in my faith there. They welcomed me with open arms and became my favorite place.

I got saved at fields of faith in 2019. That day was probably one of the best days of my life. I remember it like it's yesterday. I just started getting back into church consistently during that time and the message I heard there and the movement I saw within people really pulled me to get saved. I have social anxiety so standing up in front of people is really hard for me but I'm glad I did because it really changed my life.

Covid impacted my life very negatively. Being quarantined and isolated from others really took a toll on my mental health. At first I was glad to have a break but the longer I stayed inside the worse I felt. I was a completely different person before covid. During covid I couldn't really see the bright side of things and was wondering (like many people) if life was going to be like this forever. Covid was so unexpected and my generation hasn't experienced anything like this and it was difficult.
