Aubrianna Rubio's Timeline!

  • I was born

I was born in Mesa, Arizona.
I would like to give thanks to Kelli Mitchel and Ric Castro for making this happen, along with the docters and nurses at the hospital.
There are no significant events that occured on this day, yet I woulld like to believe I am significant enough to put myself in that category.
  • My brother was born

This is monumental for I was no longer the center of my parents attention, it got stolen from by my younger brother, Richard.
My parents expecations of me at this point were to not drop my brother when I held him, which, sadly enough, I didn't live up to. I don't know how you expect a three year old to hold a ten pound baby, but I didn't qualify for that.
  • I was adopted.

I was adopted at the age of four, and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
My grandmother and grandfather adopted me,
I remember the court room, although from the eyes of a four year old, it is a little construed.
  • First day of school!

I attended school in the Kyrene school district. I remeber my father coming in all of the time to help out, which I loved.
  • September 11th.

I was in fourth grade when this tragic terrorist attack occured. I remember how devestated my teacher was, and how we just watched the news basically the whole school day.
This day in itself is a significant social/politcal event.
  • My sister was born

My sister, Alex, was born on this day. She is my best friend and I love her to pieces. She's my mini me and I am so grateful she is in my life.
  • Goodbye School!!!!

I graducated high school at Mountain Point, and the only thing i was honestly looking forward to was dinner that night.
My mom, dad, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and I all had marvelous dinner that night.
My parents were very proud of me, so all expectations prior to that day were met!
  • ASU!

I started attending ASU last semester, and I love it!
My parents expecations of me are to recieve good grades and enjoy my time in college. I beleieve they are proud of me already, and I will continue to make them prouder everyday!!!
  • Mesa Community College

I attended Mesa Community College for about three years, considering math is my downfall in life and I had to spend an extra couple semesters trying to pass these hectic math classes.
I really enjoyed Mesa Community College, honestly.
My parents were very excited for me when I finally recieved my associates degree, and even happier that i would be starting ASU soon!
