Asking and Offering Assistance

Don't be afraid to ask for help. You can have more success when you ask for help. When you surround yourself with successful people, you will become successful.
  • Control

    Control
Control is such a hard one because people like to have control. It scares them when they don't have control. We have been born to understand that we need lots of control.
  • Trust

It is important to learn to trust others. When you trust others it's a lot easier to learn and accomplish things.
  • Offering Assistance

    Offering Assistance
"Sometimes it can seem as difficult to offer assistance as it is to ask for assistance. And sometimes it’s just a matter of think- ing more about yourself than about others." (Unit 3, Section 3.4)
  • Learning to Balance

    Learning to Balance
"Finding a good balance between the two extremes of self- sufficiency and burnout is ideal, but it can be difficult for peo- ple who have become accustomed to a more self-sufficient life- style to begin asking for help." (Unit 3, Section 3.4)
  • My story of asking for assistance

Every day I ask for assistance by going to the jag room. Going to the jag room provides assistance with my math or science homework. I have been doing it ever since I was a freshman. I love it how they can help me with almost everything. I would highly suggest going to the jag room to get help to any student who is struggling in a subject.
