Birthday
I have been born in Asia! My mother and I always dreamed to come to the golden mountain. Me and my mother always wanted to go there for the job and money oppurtunity, and freedom. I promised here that I would come to America and live my dream. I can not wait to be in America. -
Event 1
I have finally arrived to America! I am at Angel Island
I can already smell the opprotunities which made me feel wonderful. They checked my eyes for foreign diseases, when they were finshed my vision got a little blurry. A nice man gave me money he said that I had to vote for him for mayor and I told him I would vote for him. So he gave me a place to stay for a little while and gave me a job in a steel factory. -
Event 2
I have been working for the steel factory for 2 years now.I have saved some money but still not a enough to get to New York City. I want to go there to see Lady Liberty. I have made some freinds in the steel factory. They say I am I am not as bad as they say my race is. I have gotten a raise for working at the steel factory now I get three dollars an hour, and two dollar an hour on weekends. -
Event 3
I have been saving money for 3 years now. I have at least 200 dollars now. I have enough to go, and come back. So I am heading to New York on Friday after work. Since it was my last week and because I woked there so long my biss gave me 10 extra dollars. My boss and my work freinds said they will miss me. I can not wait to see Lady Liberty. -
Event 4
I have been in a America for 6 years now. I have finally at New York City. I couldn't speak when I saw Lady Liberty, to know I was in a free country made me feel good. I have found a guy named Boss Tweed he gave me a place to stay for a week but I had to vote for him. But unfortunetly I have been drafted to the army to fight for the country of freedom! I am scared to fight in the army, I feel uncertain. -
Event 5
I have been working in the army for 2 years! All of my friends have died in cold blood. I see their bodies rotting. I can't sleep, my dreams keep coming up in blood. I had never thought I would be fighting for an army. I can't wait for next year though I will be able to leave the army. I wish I was never drafted from the army.
