I was Born
I am so thankful to be alive because not everyone in this world gets a chance like i did. I was born in Montevideo Uruguay in the local hospital. When my mom was giving birth to me she almost killed me because the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck so she had to go into c section. Everything was okay in the end and went along in life. -
9/11 Terrorist Attack
9/11 was a tragic day. 2,996 deaths and injuring 6,000. Plane AA11 was the first one to strike the World Trade Center. Then plane UA175 hit the World Trade Center and people started to freak out. There where some othe minor attacks on state buildings. The terrorist group responsible fo this is al-Qaeda. I Came to the U.S.
I was 1 when I came to the U.S. Me and my mom flew an 11 hour plane ride. My dad was already here he came months before and he had a job to support us. The reason my family came to the U.S. was because in Uruguay the dollar value was going down and they could not stay there and live a horrible life with me. Also my moms uncle lived in the U.S. already so he could help us out also. -

The Amber alert is to protect kids and warn everyone about a missing child. It originated from a little girl named Amber that was kidnapped in murmured in Arlington Texas. Thanks to the Amber Alert, a lot of kids are more safe in the United States and there are less cases of kidnapping because of this.

My Sister was Born
My sisters name is Camilla (Cami) and she's 9 now but I remember this day so well. I was in school and I got pulled out of class and everyone was congratulating me on my sister. When my dad drove me to the hospital to see my mom and my baby sister she was so small and wrinkly. It was one of the most rewarding moments of my life. -
Obama as President
In 2009 the election was held an Obama was sworn as our U.S. president. He is from Hawaii with a black dad and white mom. He has a wife and two daughters. When Obama became president, Obama Care was passed which helped many people who were really poor.

Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill
It was the largest marine oil spill in history. It was caused by an explosion 41 miles off the Coast. 1,100 miles of shoreline was polluted. They put little bacteria in the oil so that it would eat the oil and clear everything up before the oil could spread even further into the ocean. This effected the ocean greatly because a lot of sea animals died and lower quantity of sea food.

I Started Swimming
Swimming used to be a huge part of my life. It's not anymore because I do it more as a recreational sport then a competitive one. I used to not know how to swim and I was scared of the ocean and deep pool growing up. Once I learned how to swim and was on the swim team I felt amazing I did swimming for school and it helped me be more courageous and stronger and help me focus. Swimming improved my life in so many ways. -
Parents Decided to Get a Divorce
This was one of the worst things to happen to me. We alll knew it was coming with the constant arguing and the yelling every night it sucked. I was in my room and my dad walked in and told me I was fine but I started crying and I was just really unhappy with the whole situation. After that things were going smooth but then I got really bad and I was in the middle of it all and things started to get better but gen they started to slip up again. -
I was Robbed
I got home one day and I saw that all the back doors of the house were open. My mom and dad ran in and I saw them freaking out. So we were robbed and they stole my wii, my sisters clothing, and my moms camera stupid things. After that we moved across the street because we were so scared of living in that house any longer. -
Sandy Hook School Shooting

The Boston Marathon Bombing
The Boston Marathon occurred in Boston. Two men constructed home made bombs out of pressured cookers and where defused on the finish line of the Marathon. The bombs exploded 12 seconds after each other and there where only 6 deaths. The men were caught and sent to jail. I Got a Tortious
My mom picked me up early from school and i rushed to my house phone called Petsmart and asked if they still had a tortuous. They told me no and I started crying because I was looking everywhere for one that was small. My mom called back they told her that another one was coming in later that night so we drove up to Petsmart and stay there for 7 hours in a car waiting. Finally the tortuous got there and we bout it. Her name is Clemintine and she loves blueberries. -
Ebola Introduced to the World
The first signs of Ebola where in West Africa. Its a virus that causes severe bleeding, organ failure, and can end up in death. Ebola caused significant loss of life all through out Africa mostly Sierra, Guinea, and Liberia. Some symptoms are muscle pain fever headaches chills ext. Moved to Abington
moving to Abington was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I love Abington because my friends are better my house my school my neighborhood my lifestyle in general. I feel accepted and loved here and I love the atmosphere. I feel safe and I feel like I actully do have friends. -

This was the year where everyone was approving same sex marriages. The states where approving it and so where other countries like Ireland and Greenland. The first state to approve same sex Marriage was Connecticut. This caused a lot of controversy and many people in the US were against the idea and a lot of religious groups as well.

First real Boyfriend
My first boyfriends name was Jake and he's was a year older then me. We had a really good relationship till the last couple months. He ended up breaking up with me and I was heart broken. All this drama broke out as expected. Then we moved on with our lives but this showed me how you have to put yourself first and not others and also how all the drama using importand yet let us slide you save yourself so much breath. -

My Gandfather Came to Visit
My grandpa Carlos recently left more like yesterday but I really ever get the chance to see him because he lives in Uruguay and it's extreamly expensive to come over and visit so when he leaves I never know if I will see him again. Both of my grandparents are old so o just never know if I will get the chance to see them. Even tho I'm not close to my grandpa I still feel a connection there with him and I feel like he gave me a duty to do which was take care of my mom and sister.
