First of all we had to learn how to use the cameras effectively, first we learnt how to zoom in effectively and use the focus this helped us allot during my filming process as my film contained zooming in, and I needed it to focus perfectly on the right object. -

Secondly we had to know if the sound quality was right and we did this by recording a piece of footage and then listening to it back this was helpful as we knew if the sound quality was good then the footage would be clear to listen too. -

We also learned how to use the camera with a tripod, this helped massively as it kept the camera steady resulting in non shaky footage this benefited allot as some key marks were given out for steady footage. -

We also learnt that using the correct setting on the camera was vital as it made the quality better we used a HD camera with a HD setting to make the footage look better and to put it in a higher quality it also helped at the end of the production as during editing it would fit in well with the 1080p widescreen rendering option. -
Blogger
Another technology I learnt about was the website blogger, we used this to upload all of our finished work to make it easily accessible for everyone to see, before we started the project we all didn’t have a clue how to use blogger, so first we had to learn how to set it up firstly by setting up different pages this was pretty easy as all you had to do was click on add page then rename the page to what ever that page was about. Editing Software
This is the biggest technology I learnt how to use during the making of my media product. Before the production began I had no idea on how to use the editing software at all. I learnt how to do many things such as insert titles which was big step as the main task was to create an opening title to a film and the main thing opening titles contain are titles so learning how to insert the titles has many benefits. -

I also learnt how edit clips for example make them shorter or cut out certain types of long clips, this helps because say for example I have a long clip but I only want to use a certain part of that clip, I can use the crop tool to cut out a pacific part of that clip. I also learnt how to add and use transitions to different clips this helped lots as it gave my media product a professional look and make it look smooth as it transfers too another clip. -
Editing Software
Another big thing I learned about the editing software is the rendering of the final clip has a big impact on final look. If not rendered correctly you can get something called the black box in which you can not see the footage at all. for best quality I learned we must render in 1080p widescreen as most monitors and TVs this is there standard resolution therefore our media product should run fine and clear on TV.
