    November 25th, 2008. Moved houses.
When I was super duper little, 3-4, I moved from St. Charles to Schaumburg (my dads), and my mom moved in with her sister for awhile. She eventually moved to Chicago.
  • August 31st, 2010. First day of pre-school.

    August 31st, 2010. First day of pre-school.
I went to pre-school by my dads. I remember the worm I saw in the room and it scared me so bad I peed my pants. It's a memory I've learned to embrace because it's pretty funny.
  • July 27th, 2011. First ever trip! (Disney Land)

July 27th, 2011. First ever trip! (Disney Land)
My mom and my dad got together for my first trip ever. Of course I don't remember much of it, but I am really grateful for it regardless. It shows the maturity of my parents, as well. Even if they were divorced at this time, they still wanted my sister and I to have a great time.
  • August 31st, 2011. Start of Elementary school.

August 31st, 2011. Start of Elementary school.
I also started elementary school by my dads! This was when I found my love for the white oreo's. They are literally so good.. and I have never liked a regular oreo the same way since. Vanilla oreo's are superior.

June 19th, 2013. Switched to CPS Schooling.
I was in 2nd grade when I started to go to school by my moms. The education is better over here, and that's what started my insane need to be a successful student.
  • September 7th, 2013. First Day of CPS Schooling. (2nd Grade)

September 7th, 2013. First Day of CPS Schooling. (2nd Grade)
2nd Grade at Garvy Elementary School. I remember the first three days of school before we went on that massive three week strike, I wore a dress everyday. I specifically remember the yellow dress I wore, because I liked the cape it had a lot.
  • February 3rd, 2015. The first time I drew for myself.

February 3rd, 2015. The first time I drew for myself.
This is a super important memory for me. I draw all the time now, and it has become something that I use to express myself, spend my free time, and overall enjoy greatly. Drawing for myself for the first time made me realize that I can keep doing this, I can keep doing it for myself and not for others.
  • July 24th, 2015. Brutus!

    July 24th, 2015. Brutus!
This was when I got Brutus. He was still an uber duber baby, and when we saw him for the first time, he was so excited, he peed himself on the porch. He is my buddy, my baby, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I've known him for 1/3 of my life, and he will always be the best boy.
  • April 7th, 2018. History Fair State Contestant. (Got 7th Place!)

April 7th, 2018. History Fair State Contestant. (Got 7th Place!)
I got into the championships for the History Fair at Garvy! My friend Jen and I did our project on the Chicago River, specifically more on the animal waste dumped into it. (Bubbly Creek) We got 7th place! It was a really cool day. This picture was from Lane Tech, where we were watching our video be projected to the critiques.
  • December 24th, 2018. iPad and iPen for Christmas! (For my art)

December 24th, 2018. iPad and iPen for Christmas! (For my art)
I had always wanted to draw digitally, after teaching myself how to draw for almost 3 years before that. For Christmas, my dad got me an iPen and an iPad. This was the start of my still continuing journey to become an artist. I am still developing my style, and I will continue to grow and learn from myself and what I teach myself.
  • June 14th, 2019. Graduated 8th Grade.

    June 14th, 2019. Graduated 8th Grade.
I graduated from Garvy! I got the golden tassel, and it had to be one of the most rewarding moments of my life. It showed that I improved myself, overcame a lot of hardships and terrible, traumatizing things that had happened and prevailed.
  • September 7th, 2019. Highschool beginnings. (Freshman Year)

September 7th, 2019. Highschool beginnings. (Freshman Year)
I started highschool at Taft! Being a freshman was very fun. I had a broken ankle through more than half of it, however, but that didn't stop me from making wonderful friends and keeping my morale high. I went to the freshman campus as well, and it felt like a prison.
  • 2020. COVID-19.

    2020. COVID-19.
I think everyone will have this on their timeline. COVID-19 has affected me through many ways, many things, people, relationships, and I still want to embrace what I had before we had to eventually close down the schools. In February, we thought it would've all been fine.
  • April 2020. First Rugby Season.

    April 2020. First Rugby Season.
This was my first year of Rugby! (I decided not to continue after Sophomore year) It was exhilarating, and I genuinely enjoyed myself and the time I had with my team.
  • July 24th, 2020. Archie!

    July 24th, 2020. Archie!
Archie!!! We picked him up from my step-sister, since the person who was going to take him backed out. I raised him from when he was eeny teeny tiny to the massive and gross thing he is now. I adore him, and he really is my best friend as well. Archie is also my baby.
  • June 30th. 2021. Taking care of my sister after her surgery.

June 30th. 2021. Taking care of my sister after her surgery.
My sister tore her ACL in a rugby accident. This was when I had to step up my game and finally become a good sister. (I was.. ish. Before) I had to sleep in the day, and watch her during the night over the summer. I took care of her. I was almost like her personal nurse. The picture I wanted to put on here corrupted, but it was just her in a wheelchair with a thumbs up :,)
  • August 31st, 2021. Return to In-Person Learning. (Junior Year)

August 31st, 2021. Return to In-Person Learning. (Junior Year)
We started in person learning again. This was definitely something that shocked me, and with all the COVID-19 emails that I was getting at the start really had me worried, especially with the conditions inside the school. It's better now, and I hope we soon can return to actual normality.
  • September 12th, 2021. Alanis Morrisette Concert.

September 12th, 2021. Alanis Morrisette Concert.
I love Alanis. She is one of my favorite artists, and I have been a big fan of hers. I know I am not necessarily her age-range target, but I appreciate her music, and the way she just puts her all into it. I finally got to see her in concert, and it truly was one of the best nights I've had. I don't really like concerts, but when you know every song she plays and sings along to every song, it's better.
  • November 17th, 2021. Getting my own room.

November 17th, 2021. Getting my own room.
I have been wanting my own room for years, and Gretta tearing her ACL was the finishing blow. I was able to get my own room, and as I am typing this, it is still incomplete, but I'm getting there. It's the start to my own private space, my area, and I am going to embrace my space and make it comfortable for myself.
