The Song dynasty started in 960 and ended in 1279. The Song dynasty was in another golden age making it was very powerful. They had a good economy and people started to follow religion. -

The French revolution is when the colonists over through the government. It was a 10 year war that was very violent and long. The French lost the war after a long battle with the colonists. The war ended in 1799. -

The Haitian revolution was when Slaves rebeled against the french. The French fought for control of the land while the slaves wanted freedom. The slaves won the war and got haiti. The war ended in 1804. -

These reforms were used to try to make people more modern and get rid of the ottoman power. these were used in political, educational, and economic reforms. this was to get people out of old jobs and in to new modernized jobs like working in factories. The Tanzimat reforms ended in 1870. -

This war was 2 wars between the qing dynasty and the British. It was over trading opium for medicine. The British wanted to get rid of opium trading but the chinease wont stop creating it. the war ended in 1860. -
Taiping Rebellion
The Taiping rebellion was a civil war in the qing dynasty. They fought over economic conditions. 20 million people died in the war. the war ended in 1864. -
Sepoy Mutiny
The Sepoy Mutiny was a war. This war was caused by the natives trying to rebel against the british in India. India was unsuccessful. The war ended in 1859. -
Berlin Conference
this was a conference in berlin that was about colonies. The conference was to regulate european colonization and trade in Africa. This is during the Imperialism period and coincided with germany. this ended in 1885 -

The scramble for Africa was when european countries sent people out to Africa to get land. The people in Africa did not have good weapons so they got tooken over quickly. this was a race to get as much land as possible. this ended in 1885.
