I was born on January 27, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital in Overland Park, KS. This photo was taken 5 hours after I was born.
-
My first words were around 7 months old and I could say "Dada" and "Bubba". Once I started talking I couldn't stop. My parents called me "the amazing talking baby" as I was able to form full sentences from a very young age.
-
I took my first steps 5 days before my first birthday.
-
This is the first year that I started going to school full-time. I went to full-day kindergarten.
-
In fall of 2020 I started my freshman year at Notre Dame de Sion.
-
I transferred high schools at the start of my senior year. I began my semester at South West in the fall of 2023.
-
I am graduating from BVSW at semester this year. I have decided to graduate early in order to get ahead on college courses and become an EMT so I have medical experience when I apply to medical school after undergrad.
-
I will either be attending Montana State University or the Univerity of Utah in the fall of 2024.
-
My goal is to get into the University of Washington medical school and attend after my 4 years of college.
-
After I graduate from Medical School I will hopefully match with Intermountain Health Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and start my residency in the OB/Gyn specialty.
-
I hope to be married when I am 26 years old.
-
Before my 38th birthday, I hope to open my own private practice. This will take a ton of work and I will have to make the right connections but it has been my dream since I was a little kid.

- What does your timeline tell you about yourself? This timeline made my life seem much shorter and simpler than it actually is. Creating this kind of scared me and made me realize how quickly my life is passing me by. This timeline tells me that I am a hard worker with big aspirations. Many people are scared of the years of school that it takes to become a doctor but I like being in school and I know that my determination will get me to my goals.

How different would you be if you could change one or two events along your line?
Looking back on the life that I have lived so far, there are so many things that I wish I could change/ do differently. I have made some massive mistakes that have completely altered the position of my life that I am in now. Despite this, I believe that the lessons I learned from my mistakes were necessary for my growth as a human. I would be nowhere as driven and kind as I am today without those mistakes. -
How flexible or fixed does your future seem to be?
I hope that my future is set in stone but achieving all that I want to takes a lot. Some of it comes down to luck and the pool of applicants for medical school. Each year it gets more competitive and more kids get rejected. I believe that there is always room at the top and if I really want it I will become a doctor. My specialty could change as I go through medical school and I may get married at a different age than 27.
