    On December 8 of 1765 Eli Whitney was born, he was the inventor or the Cotton Gin. This machine could clean and remove seeds from cotton easier and quickly than a human can, you could get around 60 pounds of cotten a day. How the machine worked was a wooden drum rotating while grabbing onto the cotton, shortly after the seeds would fall out of the cotton.

    In 1807 the first steamboat was invented by Robert Fulton. The steamboat was very successful, the boat was called "The Clermont" It was 142 feet long and 18 feet wide. The boat was used in two attacks against the British, and trips on the Clermont were fast.

    In 1831 the Mechanical Reaper was invented by Cyrus H. McCormick. This machine allowed farmers or anyone to clear land and harvest their crops. This greatly increased harvesting for farmers.

    The iPod came out October 23, 2001 for Apple. It is a pordable device that plays music on the go, with a 5GB hard drive. It could store 1000 songs using MP3. It was priced by 299$.
  • Blu-ray

    Blu-ray

    Blu-ray came out June 20, 2006 by Samsung. Where a movie disc could be played on TV. after 10 years of running Blu-ray had died down and the company Samsung had stoped selling the product.

    The first iPhone was made for Apple. It was announced on January 9, 2007 and was offically released on June 29, 2007. The 4GB model cost $499, 8GB version was $599.
  • Kindle

    The Kindle came out in November 19, 2007. It is produced and made by Amazon, and was the first e-reader. It was sold for $399, its sold out in 5 1/2 hours and remanied out of stock for 5 months, until late April 1008.
  • iPad

    iPad

    The first iPad was made for Apple. The device was flat, rectangular, and was large. It had 9.7-inch touchscreen with a home button at the bottom center. it was announced on January 27, 2010 and launched on April 3 until it was discontinued in March 11 for the launch of the iPad 2.
  • Nintendo Switch

    Nintendo Switch

    The Nintendo Switch came out on March 3, 2017. People are able to play on the go with the Switch, with 2 controllers on the sides that are removable, and you are able to hook it up to the Tv. This gaming device costs 299$.
