This is the day my little sister was born.

My family moved from my home of 12 years to Greenville, SC.

On May 5th 2005 I fell off my bike and hit my head on the curb. I cracked my skull and was in the hospital for 4 days. I was very lucky that I had no brain damage as a result.

This is the very first missions trip I went on. It was the week I discovered my love for the forgotten and hurting children of the world.

This is the first professional event in my life. It was the first professional event in my life because it was the first step in going to College. In this picture, my dad is giving me my High School dimploma. I will be able to teach social studies beacuse it gave me the first steps to being able to beome a teacher.

This was the start of my College education. This will help me teach social studies because it was an important part of my history. It plays a major role in me even becoming a teacher.

This was the period of time where I met that man who eventually became my husband. This is our first picture we took together. It was probably the 2nd or 3rd time we met.

This was the first job I had that had anything to do with teaching. It was over this summer that I realized I would much rather be a teacher than a nurse. This job will help me teach social studies one day beacuse it gave me the chance to work with children who all learned in very different ways. It allowed me to view the world through their eyes.

Missions Trip This was the 6 week trip I took to Bolivia after Sophomore year at CN. This was perhaps the most life changing event in my life. It is when I decided my passion in life was not only teacher, but also providing a safe haven from broken and homeless children in the 3rd world. I will graduate from CN with a degree in Elementary Education. This will be the end of my college career. I will be ready to teach. This will be significant to my teaching of Social Studies because I will be officially able to teach in a school.
