    My Life

  • Year 1 of Cheerleading

My first year of cheerleading has impacted me enough to continue to try out every year since then. When I was little I did not see myself on the cheer team, I saw myself on the dance team. I would watch my sister dance on Friday nights. I realized when it came down to making a choice, cheer is what was right for me! I cannot get enough of performing in front of excited fans, cheering on all of the sports teams, and simply representing AHS in the community. I wouldn't have it any other way!
  • Year 1 of Volleyball

My first year of volleyball was challenging. I had no close friends on the team like the other girls and I did not know how to play the sport like the other girls. I continued to work hard every day to try and progress my skills. By the end of the season, I was able to play every position which was a goal of mine for the coming years. I wanted to get better every day! I'm injured right now and I have no clue when I will be back to playing, but I hope soon because I miss it already!
  • My Sister Leaving for College

My sister's name is Caroline. She goes to OBU and she is a junior now. She left for college and now it is just my parents and me. She no longer takes my things but I miss having someone to hang out with! I feel like an only child now even though she lives 2 minutes away!
  • Covid-19

Coronavirus has been the talk of the world for a year and a half now. I could not cheer at away football games, play volleyball without a mask, and the world was shut down for months. I was quarantined about 4 times and missed out on school. I think covid-19 has had an impact on everyone.
  • 16 and Driving

I had practice driving for over a year before I started driving by myself. I ended up getting a hardship to help out my mom with getting to my activities. I love driving because I know I can be safe and I am responsible. I can also have fun. I have less stress about getting to everything on time and my mom has less stress. Starting to drive had a big impact on my life.
