    What else is there for me
    I want to do more, I don’t want to be a farmer like my parents, and I know I can better if I tried. I want to make more money, have a better life but I can’t do that when I’m here. I want to move to America.

    America!!
    I finally got enough money to go to America! I packed my bags and I'm off. I want to be here for a while, but things don't work well I'll go back to China, being a farmer. Finally in America! its so beautiful here! Angel island, it has so many happy faces. But, the only thing that is annoying is all of the people with different languages screaming. I met this nice name Boss Tweed i think he said his name was. I found a job because of him and a nice house to live in. Thank you Boss Tweed!!

    I was walking home from work because my house isn’t far. But, then all of a sudden i felt a knife against my throat. A man told me to give him my money or else. I hit him in the face with my lunch box, and ran as far as I could. I didn't see this man, but he caught up to me and tackled me. So he had to be quite fit. I felt each punch into my ribs feeling the bruise grow. The sharp pain in my stomach keeps occurring until I am barely conscious. Then, he got up, kicked me in the side, than left me

    People coming from all over the world, I've met people from Europe, from Asia, and from America. It's really amazing how all of these countries come together like a big family reunion.

    I love america but i love my new wife most. She's beautiful, smart, and so supportive. im so happy that ive made her my wife. We come from different back grounds though. Im from China and Shes from Spain. Everyday i learn something new about her, every flaw, every wish. I learned why she came to America, she wanted a better life for herself too. She told me about her trip to Ellis Island and how she dicied to move west. But she was really understanding about having a chinese wedding.
