Country Boy
Chris Kyle grew up in Texas and would go live there again. For example, "If I/ had to order my priorities, they would be God, Country, Family.//" Kyle always loved what God gave to him. -
Hardest Part
Kyle joined the Navy and had to go to BUD/S ( Basic Underwater Demolition/ Seal) training in February of 1999. For Example, "The most notorious part of BUD/S is Hell Week, 132/ hours straight of exercise and physical activity//". BUD/S is a hard part of seals training and only the best make it through. -
The start of the mission
Kyle and his buddies from the Navy prepare helicopters for missions. for example, " Grudgingly, they helped us prepare for the mission, then got/ us aboard a mail- and- resupply helicopter from the USS Nassau, an' amphibious assault ship out in the Indian Ocean//". -
Down Days
When Kyle was not in the middle of the war him and his deployees had to guard the surroundings of their base. for instance, "We did a lor of land navigation,/ built hide sights, and did SR/ along the border/". -
The Tour
Kyle's lieutenant commander calls him into his office and says, "Kyle, i'm going to need you to get your sniper rifle and pack up/ all your gear, you're going to/ Fallujah/". -
Into The War
Kyle and his team take an amtrac to an apartment complex they have to have the people leave. For instance, " The Marines ended up moving about 250 civilians from/ the complex, a fraction of what they had been told to expect/". -
Home
A lot of people respect people who were or still are in the service. for instance, "I barely had to raise my voice to get that little ceremony going/". -
Options
You have several guns to choose from when to go out on duty in the war. for instance, " The distance east of Ramadi made the .300 Win MAg/ my rifle choice, and i started taking it regularly on patrols/". -
Overwatcgh
When you are in any part of the service you need to have somone on patrol at all times. For instance, "I was on overwatch at four story one morning/ when some of our guys started doing a patrol nearby". -
As a father
Cjris Kyle is back in texas with his family. For example, "I began teaching my son how to shoot when he was two,/ starting with the basics of a BB rifle". His theory is to let kids get in trouble because they are curious, but he still wants them to be safe.
