Chapter one page 11
In the begging of this book we find the main character Katniss looking over the remains of her old home. After her ditrict 12 was bomber the reamaining 800 people moved into district 13, a supossablly destroyed to the capital. Now Katniss has to become the fire in the rebels hearts to overcome and destroy the capital. -
chapter one- chapter 5
in this part of the book Katnisshas agreed to be the capitals mockingjay but with a few acceptions. she says that if she serves them they must leave Peeta alone if they save him along with the other victors. But she also realizes that district 13 can be as cruel as the capital torturing people for just getting a piece of bread without permision. -
chapter 5-8
Katniss has been sent into distract 8 with a camera crew to record her helping damged people in a hospital but shortly after the town was bombed by waves of ships destroying the hospital and everyone in it. -
chapter 9-11
In this section of the book Katniss was trying to help the rebels by making a small video to be aired in the capital to help convince them that President Snow was the real bad guy but right after this happened district 13 was bombed by missles and every one went deep under ground. -
chapter 12-14
now Katniss is asualting district 2 right after Peeta was saved from the capital but is now diferent because he was basically brain washed. -
chapter 15-18
Now Katniss was shot at distict 2 by a sniper from far off to prevent her from convincing all of district 2 from joining them. after that she went right into training to help stop the fighting at the capital, only thing is the capital defenses are just like the hunger games. -
chapter 19-22
Katniss is now leading an asualt on the capital after her squad leader died and now she has to lead her men and Peeta through a mine field of exploding pods while Peeta accidentaly killed two of there men. -
chapter 25-26
On the asualt on the capital Katniss finds her sister helping the wounder while a hover craft comes in and drops parachutes for the people to catch hoping they are full of supplies and food, but they explode and kill her sister. After they capture the president and force him in a room for safe keeping. -
chapter 23-24
After being chased through sewers and what not they reached a safe house. Now that Finnick is dead they have to find out how they plan on killing the president with only limited supplies and few men -
Chapter 27-end
The day of the exacution begins and Katniss is about to finish what she started and kill the president, but instead she aims her bow high and kills general Coin with one shot in the heart. After which she goes back to her home in district 12 and lives her days with the cat Buttercup and Peeta.
