Trials and Tribulations
This timeline is a description of events that made me who I am today, using Erikson's Eight Stages of Psycho-social Development.(Human Development a Cultural Approach). -
Middle Childhood
Early Childhood for me was a wonder, I remember wanting to explore further and further from the house and being more curious then ever about everything. Little did I know that ahead of me came life changing events and feelings I didn't know existed. -
Adolescence
In this stage of my life I experienced the confusion in my identity they talked about in Adolescence. I believe that it was the the feeling of rejection and seeing how "Awful" boys were that brought on this confusion. Though it didn't last long it was hard and painful. Add some substance abuse to any of it and its so much harder to get through. -
Early Adulthood
This was a time when I wanted commitment like any young adult and love but also being an addict my first love was my drugs so I found a companion that loved drugs just as much as I did and we got lost together. It wasn't till recently till I was able to get my life back on track and experience what God had intended for me. -
Middle Adulthood
Here I am FINALLY! my only desire is to care for my young, to love them to watch them grow and to guide them in the right direction. hopefully away from the path that I so blindly went down. The only thing I can do is teach them what I know and hope that they take what mistakes I've made seriously. I love them. they are my life, my loves, my everything's.
