    The Italian campaign were conflicts fought in northern Italy between the French against the aligned forces of Austria, Russia, on other Italian states. It also marked the start of the new wars to come.

    Napoleons’ goal in the Egyptian campaign was to join forces with the ruler of India and drive the British away from the region. This resulted in a defeat of Napoleon.

    This was an agreement between Napoleon and Pope Pius VII. The agreement reunited the Revolutionaries and the Catholics. Also it solidified the Roman Catholic Church at the majority church of France.

    Napoleon had named himself emperor in the Norte Dame Cathedral. He was the first frenchman to hold the title in a thousand years.

    The battle was a naval war between the British Royal Navy and the French and Spanish Navies combined. Within a few hours the British destroyed 19 of Napoleons ships. This lead to Britain’s Victory.

    This was also known as the continental Blockage. This was against the United Kingdom during the Napoleonic Wars. As a response to the blockage of the French coasts by the British government. This had a large effect against British trade.

    Napoleon had though it was something the French needed to do to take over Europe and gain the Imperial Title. He abolished the Empire in the battle of Austerlitz. He then created the Confederation of the Rhine.

    Napoleon had invaded Spain, beginning the Peninsular war which was an important phase in the Napoleonic Wars. During that time France enter Madrid. Madrid revolted but Napoleon’s brother was named the new king of Spain

    The French Army also known as the Grande Armée entered the Russian territory in order to free Poland from the threat of Russia. The French did not have the supplies they needed and were under prepared. This stopped Napoleons March through Europe.

    The battle included the French army against the aligned countries of Austria, Prussia, Sweden, and Russia. The battle took place when Napoleon wanted to take the Leipzig position. With all intent of winning the battle the French lost.

    Napoleon was forced to resign by parliament after a unsuccessful invasion of Russia gaining himself more enemies. He was officially abdicated in the Treaty of Fontainebleau.

    This was know as the war of the Seventh Coalition. This occurred when Napoleon returned after being exiled for 11 months. Once Napoleon returned he made changes to the Imperial Constitution causing former enemies to realign against him which resulted in more battle. The French did not end with a victory.

    The battle included the French against the aligned countries. During the war Napoleon rose through the French Army ranks and gained controlled the French government. This is the war that ended The French’s attempt to take over all of Europe.
