    In ther latter end of summer 1769 a boy is born in Ajaccio, Corsica, France. He was the fourth born child of Carlo Buonaparte, a lawyer, and his wife, Letizia Ramolino. Also the second of all his siblings to actually survive birth.

    In the year 1798 after a series of military victory Napoleon lead his forces to egypt to trade between Britan and India. He failed. the expedition was a disaster. Though to perserve his reputation he used a seires of spies and press censorship he covered up the failure.

    In the year of 1799, due to the massive decline of the power of the french Directory, Napoleon seized power by having troops under his control surronded the national legislature and drove out most of his members.

    After years of gathering power Napoleon had gained enough influence to take the position of emporer for himself. He invited the current pope to the coronation but when the Pope was about to crown him he actualy took the crown out of the pope's hand and crowned himself. This was to show that he owed his current place in the world to no one but himself.

    As one of the last major europeon powers that were not under Napoleon's control/outside his sphere of influence. This was due to the fact that while they had a small army, Britan was surronded by water and its sea power was able to ward off Napoleon. However Napoleon's failure to capture Britan was not due to lack of trying. For example in the year 1805 when he set out to try capturing the country again. He was defeated by british general Trafalgar.

As alexander respounded with scorched earth style violence.

    Napoleon finally gives in to the pressure and surrenders to the allies. They gave him a small pention and banished him to Elba, a tiny island off the Italian coast.

    Not taking any chances this time, Napoleons enemies banished him to St. Helena, a remote island in the south atlantic. He lived their alone writing his memoirs till 1821 where he died, possibly of cancer.

    Unsurprisinly the rest of Europe was not pleased with the fact that the monarch they made a point of removing from power suddenly getting his throne back. They rallied they're armies and under the command of the Duke of Wellington to the Belgium village of Waterloo. He fought the british armies throughout the day until the arrival of the Prussian military overpowered him over the course of two days and chased him away.
