    A mutiny aboard a british ship involving sepoys (indian solidiers) thought their musket cartridges were made out of beef and pork and in the Hindu Religion you are not allowed to eat theese foods so the soldiers refused the guns and were jailed. This event thus lead to the full of serpoy rebellion and the EIC dissovled but the British government reorganized themselves to begin their own rule and control india.

    King Leopold the second the ruler of Blegium was a small country and needed wealth to help it industrialize. Leopold read about Livingstones writings and found the Congo of great use to Belgium. He arranges a confrence with all the european powers to divide up africa as long as they got the congo. Suprisingly the only power(s) not to attend the confrence were the Africans.

After rising to power she wanted to push a new constitution that would increase her power aswell as she denied to give more rights to foriegn businessmen and business intrests so this of course agrivated the econonomy and people and she lost her place and the throne. There was no other haiwian monarch in history from that point on.

    Ethoipia was the only nation to keep its independence during the carving and colinization of Africa. This was primarily because of their great and smart leader Menelik the 2nd. When the italians wanted to sign a treaty with the Ethopians he read both translations of the treaties and noticed differences that were not in his favor. He then declared war against the italians and defeated them at the battle of Adwa.

The US naval power had attacked the colonies aswell as the spanish in the gulf and the spanish lost most of their colonies except mexico.

Though the africans put up the best fight they could the Europeans who were technologically superior had taken over the country mainly because they had guns and better guns than the africans.
