  • 2,100 B.C The begining of Greece

    First Greek speeking settlers arrive in mainland Greece and decide that this was a good place to live.
  • 1,100-1,050 B.C. The iron age

    The Greeks started to craft iron tools and discover how to smelt the iron and meke wepons.
  • Greek divides. 800-700 B.C.

    Greek divides into small city states with their own government.
  • The spreding of Greece. 775-500 B.C.

    Greek city states establish colonies along the shores of the Mediteranian sea and the Black sea.
  • Over throwing the king. 650-500 B.C.

    New rulers called, tryants over threw the kings and took control of many city states with the support of the hopelites.
  • Making of new money. 590 B.C.

    Greek city states begin to make coins and not just trading. It is also belived that the Greeks have copied the idea from the crafty workers of Lydia.
  • The Bronze Age. 3000-2000 B.C.E.

    This age is called the Aegean Age or the Early Bronze Age. They begane and the Greeks where very welthy like they where in the Gold Age.
  • The Dark Age of Greece. 1100-700 B.C.E.

    The Bronze Age ended and many city states where destroyed or abandon. The Greeks became weak.
  • A new measurment/Government 594 B.C.E.

    Solon replaces the Deaconian law and layes the foundation for Democracy, also along with the syatem of weights and measument.
  • enof Ancient Greece. 30 B.C.E.

    The Greeks got way too big and started to over lap the Roman Empire which made them fall.
