Both my mom and dad were old and unhealthy. ZThey could barely walk. I know that if I dont make a better life for them in the next few years, they could end up dead.

I decide to make my way down to Angel Island, California. I knew that i find a way to make money, so I thought of Califrnia being a great place to start.

I make it to Angel Island by foot, boat, and carriages. As I get there I immediatly start looking for jobs, so I can afford to give money to my parents.

I began to work very hard nd I began to recieve very low wages of money. I sent half of it out to my parents, while I saved up for a house of my own.

I still work very hard as an immigrant. I am receiving higher wages of money, and I have enough to afford a house of my own. My parents are doing good with the money they and I both have lifes of our own now. I am a successful immigrant.
