This event was significant to me because it was the day I was born into this world and have a place in society. I can do my role in society to help the environment and help people across the world. -

A Timeline of My Life

Lost in Korea
This was a significant event to me because I was reunited with my family. This happened to me because I was at church in the morning with my grandparents and I made me way out of the building and got lost. I was in the middle of downtown Korea and later was found by a police man and taken by my grandparents. -
Moved to Vancouver
This was a significant event because this was the first time that I moved from a different location by taking a plane. I moved from a small town, Victoria, which was on Vancouver island and moved to a much more urban area. Having to go from an area meant that I had to leave my friends and family behind. -
Kindergarten (First Day of School)
This event was significant to me because it was the first time I got education. Going to school meant that I would interact with other children and create bonds with others. This was exciting for me because I got to play with different toys and made new friends. -
Rode bicycle without training wheels
This was a significant event to me because this was the first time in which I did not have to use training wheels in order to keep me balanced on the bicycle. It felt like freedom to me because I did not have to use 4 wheels in order to ride the bike. -
Elementary School
This was a significant event to me because I was not in kindergarten anymore. I learned more things in elementary school and met even more people. Elementary school taught me the fundementals of subjects such as science, math and english and also helped us meet new people. -
First Piano Lesson
This was significant to me because this was the first time that I learned an instrument. Piano helped me read notes and helped me stay on beat and rhythm. By learning piano this helped me learn the basics of music and to learn other instruments such as the trumpet and drums. -
Moved to Toronto
This was significant to me because it was the second time I moved to another location that was fary away. My family came to Toronto because of my dad's job. After coming to Toronto, I visited two different schools and currently attend Richmond Green Secondary School. -
Start Martial Arts
This was significant in my life because it was the first time I took martial arts. Martial arts helped me learn about self-defence and I also that I should use it for defence and not offence. Martial arts helped me learn discipline. I earned many belts, they range from colours of white, yellow, green, orange, blue, brown, red and black. -
Elementary Graduation
This was a significant event in my life because I graduated from elementary and was going into high school. My graduation meant that I was now leaving the school and were to be going on with my life. -
Enter High School
This was a significant event in my life because I was going from elementary school to high school. Things would be different as we would meet new people from other schools but also pick some of our courses. This also meant that we would have to work more as we were in a higher grade. -
Overseas to Nicaragua
This was a significant event to me because I went to a third world country to help others who were in need. This was the first time I went to a third world country, and it was hard as it was very hot. I helped local citizens by building wells and homes.
