The Day I was Born
I was born in Toronto on February 29th, a leap year!!! This day is significant because it is when I entered this world. It was the beginning to my life and opened many opportunities that lay ahead of me. -

I Got Lost
I was at a zoo with my grandparents and my cousin at the time. My grandparents and cousin were looking at the animals and I walked away from them because I wanted to look at other animals. By the time I realized I walked to far, I didn't know the way back and was lost. I wandered to the exit of the zoo where a guard stopped me and asked me who I was with. After a short while, my grandparents finally found me after asking one of the workers there if they had seen a child alone. -
Entered Kindergarten
This was the first time I received formal education. I entered my first school in Scarborough and learned the basics as well as making my first friends. I stayed at this school until grade 1 which I moved and switched schools. -
Transitioned to 2nd School
At the beginning of grade 2, I moved to Markham, where I entered my second school. It was hard to leave behind my friends from my first school in Scarborough, but at the same time I met many others which I am still friends with today. -
Transitioned to 3rd School
After 1 year at my 2nd school, a new school closer to my home was built. So at the beginning of grade 3, I changed schools once again. A lot of my friends from the previous school also switched schools with me as well since they lived in my neighbourhood, so I was still able to maintain my relationship with many of my classmates. I learned a lot at this school and began to learn what my interests are and developed new skills. I stayed at this school until I graduated from elementary school. -
Travelled to China
In 2008, I travelled to China with my parents to visit my relatives. This was not the first time I travelled to China, but was the first time I actually remembered what happend during the vacation as I was too young the other times. It was an interesting experience since I was able to see the customs and cultures of people in another place. I visited many of my relatives that lived in China and it was memorable since I travelled back to where my parents came from. -
Entered High School
At the age of 14, I entered highschool. It was a frightening experience since I did not know what to expect and had to meet new people. However, highschool was a whole new experience since I was given more freedom, and more responsibilities. -
Volunteering
During the summer of 2011, I volunteered at a summer camp. It was a very enjoyable time since we were allowed to go on the trips that the children went on like to waterparks, the pool, and arcades. I took on a leadership role at the camp supervised the children ensuring that they were safe, did not leave the designated area's, as well as keep them company. Over the summer, I also earned all my necessary volunteer hours.
