Independence of Mexico
The revolution of Mexico, where the driving force of it came from peasants and the poor class. Many mexicans were discontent with the labor they had to do on the cattle ranches and in the mines. Morelos led a revolt against the sugar plantations. The former government was pushed away and a new government was able to form. Officially they got independence in 1821. -

matt perry goes to japan
Matthew Perry sailed to Japan to stop the closed country policy. This stopped japan from trading which hurt others trades because it would make it a much easier trip if cole ships could use the ports in Japan. Perry's military stature was much higher then japans and it clearly showed, he easily was able to have Japan sign the treaty of Kanagawa, opening 2 ports to Americans. -

Sepoy Mutiny
This revolution started with the sepoy(which were a big part of the british army) They were against the fact that they had to rip off the cartridges of the riffles which were lubracated with beef fat. This going against there muslim beliefs of vegetarianism they were upset. The British soldiers severly punished the Sepoy that wouldnt bite the cartridges off. The Sepoy then revolted and the peace was resolved in july of 1858. -
