  • Cavity Free?

    Cavity Free?
My first dentist appointment happened to be on Halloween '98. I was definitely scared as I didn't know what to expect. All I knew was that if I was cavity free, that would be a good thing! At the end, I faced my fear of the dentist. as I realized that all they wanted to do was to help me clean my teeth!
  • Acceleration

    Acceleration
My first thrilling roller coaster ride was at Canada's Wonderland on the Taxi Jam. Instead of being scared, I was actually very excited. Everytime I saw my sister go ona ride, I would be jealous because I wanted to feel like a big kid! After the ride, I discovered that I was an adventuroud kid and truly enjoyed feeling...scared!
  • Black and White Keys

    Black and White Keys
my first piano lesson was when when I was 5. My parent's decided to enroll me because it was a good extra curricular activity and it just so happens that I love music. It helped me with hand-eye coordination. I completed my grade 8 piano exam in 2008 with first class honors.I quit piano afterwards as would be too challenging and time consuming. But to this day, I still play piano as a hobby.
  • Up, up and away!

    Up, up and away!
My first plane ride was to San Fransisco. I was really scared of bring in the air and one of the flight attendants decided to take me to the front of the plane where the pilots were at work. There, I got to see all the contorl pannels and everything! It was really special for me to get the chance to actually see how the plane flew.
  • Ballet!

    Ballet!
I started Ballet at the age of 6! My sister had been dancing since she was 3, so my parents decided that I should be dancing too. Ballet has definetly helped me with a better posture, discipline and flexibility.
  • Down the slopes

    Down the slopes
I learned to ski at the Horseshoe Valley up north in Barrie. I learned with my sister and our close family friend. It was a big challenge as I had 2 giant skis stuck on my feet and I absolutely had no idea how to move or stop. However, after a day of lessons, I was able to actually control myself going down a bunny hill!
  • Back home

    Back home
I was lucky enough to travel back to Hong Kong, China where my parents grew up. It was neat to see the different lifestyle they lived in as a kid compared to me. It was also very crazy seeing so many Chinese people everywhere! In China, I got the chance to walk up the Great Wall of China and I was very exhausted and it was extremely hot that day.
  • Goodbye Elementary School!

    Goodbye Elementary School!
I graduated Lincoln Alexander Public School in 2009 and I had so many mixed emotions. I was excited to go to high school, but didn't want to leave all these memories behind. On the bright side, I recieved the honor roll and the music award. These were one of my most imoprtant accomplishments in life as I worked hard for them. Also, I enjoy music a lot as I play the piano, guitar and the flute.
  • Egypt

    Egypt
During March Break '10, I was very fortunate enough to get a chance to visit Egypt. I got to see the pyramids, mummies, learn a new culture and learn their lifestyle. I feel very fortunate to be living in Canada and have all my necessities, whereas those in Egypt, not everyone is able to have enough money to buy what they need. This is the first adventurous trip I have ever been too. Lots of walking and exploring historial artifacts.
