Accessing
When having a medical emergency it is the time to call for an ambulance or head to the emergency room (Pg. 7) but if you need to see the doctor about something that day or if you are sent for some testing you head to the urgent care (Pg. 6). Though with both of those situations it is key that you also have a regular doctor that is check ups yearly and they will be able to help with the majority of problems (Pg. 8). -
Personal Experience
I have had to go to the urgent care more then once and was sent by my doctor in order to get x-rays done and casting for my wrist and back x-rays for pain.
