I moved to a whole new community and had to leave all my friends and family behind. I changed my whole life for one with a new dad and baby sister. I was nervous and excited.

When they got divorced i thought it was my fault because i was a bad kid. After that it was really hard not being with them both but i felt i had to be stable for my little sister.

Mr. Swann, my 6th grade teacher, taught me to live life to the fullest and appreciate every day. He also taught me to live in the moment and not freak out about what's ahead.

I had a more competitive team in soccer and it made me work harder. I also had the responsibility of showing up for games and trying my hardest.

I started a bigger school and had to change classes and be in charge of myself. I also had to keep track of homework and plan so i can have time for other things.

I became a young woman and with it came even more responsibility. I also had to work hard and it made me realize who I am.

I lost a pet and a best friend. She was my protecter and a comfort system but I am glad she is in a better place. I was sad that she was gone but I am also glad she isn't suffering.
