I was the second child in my family, and I lived with my single mom, Christine.

My mom got a full time trucking job

My mom was a single mother, with me and my two sisters. She needed a souce of income, and having her own trucking business was the way for money. She was traveling all over the country, so we were bounced around from family to family.

May 21, 1984

Dad died

Although he was not in my life, he was still my dad. He died of cancer. I was never sure of why he left, was it because of me? I never asked my mom because I didn't want her to think that I was unhappy or sad about it.

I was introduced to the game of basketball

Mycousin, Craige, and her uncle, Uncle Ed, took me to the gym, signed her up in boys' leagues, worked with me day after night to learn the game of basketball

Senior year of highschool basketball

This year I reached 6 foot five, and that year I averaged 27 points and 15 rebounds a game, And I got a chance to play on the USA. I was 6 foot 5, and I weighed 170 pounds.

I have worked for Tommy Hilfiger, Gigi Hunter, Armani, and Anne Klein. I was so successful, I put my basketball carrer on hold for about a year after the olympics, until I heard that the LA Sparks team was being formed.
