    Id - Spaghetti Adventure
My inner Id was exposed when my family took me out to a spaghetti dinner when I was just two years old. Having been so excited I squished my hands into the saucy noodles and before my mom knew it I had dunked my head into the bowl and emerged with sauce smeared all over my face.
  • Soccer - Containment Theory

    Soccer - Containment Theory
Soccer was and remains a great part of my life, I owe a lot of who I am today to it. When I started I was four and I grew from there. I had goals to make it to the big time league and play for college as well, if I was to go through with it I couldn't be a kid who gets into a ton of trouble. Even so, it was very hard for me to be deviant and throw away everything I was working for with my whole family on the side line cheering me on.

    8th Grade - Subculture
Being the deviant child I was, with nothing to keep me in line I went into a non-conformist mood. The friends I had were those who wore black clothes with sagging chains. We hung out at skate parks and smoked. We painted our nails black and the makeup we had was all black,
  • Disney World - Personality/ Norms

    Disney World - Personality/ Norms
The place where all your dreams come true was the most amazing time I ever had, nobody ever walked around with a smile on their face and their personality was so kind and generous, anyone who was in a disappointed mood would shine through the crowd in a split second because they were totally out of the norms.

Stigma - Jamaica - Labeling Theory
When I arrived in Jamaica for the first time, I was a little bit skeptical at the people because I had this label on them that all they did was smoke weed and lay around because I had heard it from people before I left for my trip. I was very much mistaken after I was informed by this a native born and raised in Jamaica for her whole life.
