This trap was overcome by humans as agricultural methods were improved, swift advances in medical science were made, there was a rising middle class (more people could afford better food and medicines thanks to increased employment.

    Although perspectives differ regarding British settlement of Australian territory there was still a main reason that the British chose Australia. The British needed a place to dispose of their prisoners and believed that other European powers would expand their reach into the southern hemi-sphere. This motivated them to colonise Botany Bay and they soon clashed with the Aboriginal land owners. They forced them into the European way of life and murdered or stole children from Aboriginal families.

    During the Napoleonic Wars, multiple countries were involved. This included Britain, France (French Emperor Napoleon), Austria and Prussia. It was a series of wars between the British and French and their respective alliances. What was originally an attempt to maintain French strength, became efforts to confirm supremacy in Europe. Napoleon failed to prevent Paris' invasion and was banished, not long after his return he rebuilt his army and again lost the Waterloo battle, ending all ongoing wars

    During the time between 1775-1848, the whole world experienced mind blowing revolution in nearly all ways of life. This included revolutions politically, war related, economics, social life and culturally. The revolutions ended in 1848 as a result of revolts across European monarchies which all ended in failure and repression. This caused widespread disillusionment among liberals.

    The battle of Beersheba was fought on the 31st of October in 1917 at the Ottoman Empire in Beersheba and it resulted in a common British victory. On this day over 1000 Turkish soldiers were imprisoned and thousands of allied soldiers and horses were killed or injured.
